Overview

IDC is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven strategic sales hunter to join our team in Singapore.

This role is ideal for a dynamic sales professional who thrives on building new business, developing strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth through a consultative, solutions-focused approach.

Responsibilities

The primary focus of this role is to acquire new logos, penetrate new territories, and engage untapped stakeholders and budget owners within both new and existing accounts.

A strong emphasis is placed on identifying growth opportunities and delivering value through deep understanding of client needs.

In addition to developing new business, the role also involves maintaining and strengthening relationships with key account executives in existing accounts to uncover upselling and cross-selling opportunities.

Success in this role requires a hunter mindset, sharp commercial instincts, and the ability to navigate complex sales cycles.

The ideal candidate brings a high level of energy and possesses excellent relationship management and consultative selling skills.

Qualifications

  • 8-10 years of quota-carrying sales experience, with proven ability to meet or exceed targets.

  • Demonstrates strong written, verbal and analytical communication skills.

  • Strong understanding of sales fundamentals including prospecting, qualification, opportunity assessment, proposal development and delivering client presentations.

  • Preferred background in Technology sales, or experience selling to technology companies, particularly targeting the marketing & business personas.

  • Relationship-driven with a consultative sales approach, focused on understanding client needs and delivering value-based solutions
  • Builds and maintains a robust sales pipeline to consistently achieve monthly targets across both existing and new accounts
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of client requirements and ability to take a strategic, big picture view
  • Proven ability to engage and build credibility with senior-level decision makers.
