In this full-time position based in the Central Region, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality accounting and bookkeeping services to our diverse client base.
As part of our growing accounting practice, you will be responsible for handling a wide range of financial tasks to support the success of our small and medium-sized business clients.
What you'll be doing
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records for clients, including processing invoices, expenses, and payments
- Preparing monthly financial statements, reconciliations, and other reports to provide clients with valuable insights into their financial performance
- Assisting with the preparation of tax returns and liaising with tax authorities on behalf of clients
- Providing administrative support, such as responding to client inquiries and managing client records
- Collaborating with the broader team for administrative tasks
What we're looking for
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role, preferably within a small practice or professional services environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients
- A detail-oriented approach and the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
- A passion for providing exceptional customer service and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development
