The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.
As a member of our Learning Solutions Sales Team, you will be a part of an experienced group of sales professionals who are bringing LinkedIn’s Talent & Learning products to market.
In this new business sales role, you will have responsibility driving new business and learning pilots across the Asia territory.
You will tap into potential client opportunities to generate new business within existing accounts, igniting and uncovering new business opportunities within existing clients.
Our team operates like a start-up, so we are looking for sales candidates with entrepreneurial DNA.
You can handle ambiguity and improvise new processes when needed.
You are solutions-oriented, have a growth mindset, and are aligned with our belief that LinkedIn can enhance the government’s ability to serve the public.
This is a 7-month maternity coverage role.
Responsibilities:
+ Maintain prospecting activity to build a healthy pipeline and increase revenue/market share
+ Partner with Account Director to drive demand for new product solutions within accounts and/or meaningfully upsell existing accounts across Asia
+ Establish executive-level relationships outside of HR, across different business units and technology departments
+ Manage learning pilots and grow new business opportunities
+ Serve as a strategic partner and expert on LinkedIn’s Talent Development product offerings to drive solutions to customer problems.
+ Act as brand evangelist & Coordinate customer engagement events across the region to promote LinkedIn Learning and Talent Solutions
+ Collaborate effectively with cross-functional sales partners
+ Work across the team by scaling efforts in running trials/pilots
Basic Qualifications:
+ 5+ years of applicable business development/sales/consulting experience
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience working with CTOs, CIOs, digital transformation departments
+ Consulting experience in Human Capital Management solutions
+ Experience in selling recruitment or learning content solutions
+ Experience in leading and driving a team towards common objectives
+ Excellent communication and public speaking skills
+ Knowledge of software contract terms and conditions with the ability to create fair transactions
+ Strong negotiation and accurate forecasting skills
+ Demonstrated ability to find, manage and close high-level business in an evangelist sales environment
+ Ability to assess business opportunities and use data to inform decision making and persuade others
+ Ability to manage a large number of prospect situations simultaneously while positioning company products against direct and indirect competitors
+ Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia, Thai, Korean or Mandarin is a plus
