Overview
As an Account Manager at AKA Asia, you will manage client relationships, lead integrated campaigns, and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver insightful, engaging work that sparks conversation.
You will serve as a primary contact for clients, ensuring smooth project execution from strategy to delivery across PR, digital, and social media.
Responsibilities
Client Handling
Provide strategic advice to clients on PR objectives and goals
Develop and obtain approval for project timelines from your AD and clients
Set realistic client expectations and establish achievable KPIs
Ensure team discipline in meeting deadlines
Maintain strong client relationships through regular contact
Monitor industry issues relevant to clients, including competitor activities
Working with the team
Maintain ongoing communication with AD for smooth account management
Review major deliverables from AEs to ensure quality standards
Mentor junior team members, coaching on technical and soft skills to boost morale and confidence
New business
Identify opportunities for account growth and new business development
Contribute to proposals, turning insights into strategies and pitches
Engage stakeholders through media, bloggers, influencers, and groups
Guide AEs in stakeholder engagement and relationship building
Create materials for approval and track progress to improve efficiency
Coordinate with senior contacts and identify networking opportunities
Prepare briefing notes and manage follow-up actions
Digital and Design
Stay updated on social media and digital platform trends
Develop social media strategies and content plans
Leverage current events for social media opportunities
Manage relationships with external partners for content creation
Showcase and propose design capabilities to clients
Financial and Administrative
Alert ADs if current budgets deviate from plans during execution
Qualifications
4-7 years of experience in the PR industry
Excellent writing skills
Articulate presenter of ideas and plans
Experience participating in new business pitches
Proven ability to manage and deliver high-quality work
Strong skills in managing timelines and executions
