Job Summary / Introduction :-
Responsible for managing the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely and accurate collection of payments, maintaining good relationships with clients, and handling all AR-related tasks.
Proficiency in both business and financial systems is required.
Key Responsibilities :-
- Tracking & Management: Monitor daily AR collections, update ledgers, analyze aging, and support credit/collection strategies with Sales.
- Reconciliation & Write-Off: Conduct regular reconciliations, resolve discrepancies, prepare reports, and assist with bad debt provisioning and write-offs.
- Invoices & Customer Service: Review, issue, and track invoices; handle customer inquiries and resolve invoice issues.
- Data & Analysis: Collect and analyze AR data, prepare reports on balances and overdue rates, and support budgeting and forecasting.
- Risk Management: Implement AR risk alerts, assess customer credit, recommend limits, and manage credit risk controls.
- Carry out other ad-hoc tasks as assigned
Requirements :-
- Minimum Qualification: At least a Diploma in Accounting or Finance
- Preferred Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance / ACCA qualification, or related fields
- At least 3-5 years of relevant work experience in accounts receivable or related fields.
- Experience in the logistics or related industry is preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, SUMIF, IF functions)
- Hands-on experience with the NCC accounting system
- Well versed in English and comfortable with speaking to Chinese clients in China.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated, responsible, capable of working independently, and able to keep supervisors well-informed and responsive to tasks assigned
