Job Description
The Company
Our client in the chemical sector is looking to hire a 6 months' contract Accountant.
The Role
The job responsibilities include posting bank transactions, revaluating bank accounts and balance sheet items, posting journal vouchers for amortization, clearing balance sheet items, managing inter-division charges and cost recharges, handling AP and GL matters such as vendor verification, invoice posting, and reconciliation, managing payment arrangements including payroll and vendor payments, preparing reports for operation costs and reconciliations, managing GST reports and professional fee cost schedules, and ensuring accurate financial data input and reporting in SAP and other systems.
Your Profile
You should possess at least a Degree in Accountancy / ACCA or equivalent, with minimum 5 years of experience in handling GL / full set of accounts.
You are expected to have strong communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to communicate internally with team members as well as externally with vendors.
Prior experience in SAP is highly preferred.
