We are seeking a passionate and resourceful
Accountant & Payment Analyst
to join our Finance Department.
In this role, you will play a vital part in driving automation in operational processes and handling payment matters by streamlining workflows, ensuring accuracy, and supporting compliance.
You will take ownership of end-to-end payment processing, financial reporting support, and continuous improvement initiatives within the Finance Department.
Responsibilities
Assist Finance Manager in all statutory and regulatory reporting work
Be part of Project Management Team to drive automation operating processes
Processing and deep-dive into payment information to work with FPA team to track corporate spent analysis
Prepare and follow up on documents in the following areas:
Invoices and Vendor Payments
Aged Payables Report
Balance sheet Schedules (Prepayment, Accrual, Work in Progress, Recoverable etc)
Statement Of Account Reconciliation and Accruals
Fixed Asset Schedule, Depreciation, Assigning Fixed Asset ID Tag
Manage and maintain Annual Fixed Asset Count and Petty Cash Count
Check invoices against purchase orders and ensure goods or services were received
Assemble, review and process invoices for timely vendor payments.
Provide other support necessary to pay the obligations of the organization
Requirements
A degree in Accountancy or equivalent is required.
Preferably at least 2 years relevant experience, preferable with Accounts Payable (AP), Full Set exposures, Audit and System Automation.
Good teamwork and communication skills
Hands on experience with Accounting Software and MS Office
Good initiative and willing to learn and improve
Detail oriented and organized
