As an Accountant/Senior Accountant, you will work closely with various stakeholders in ensuring the completion and accuracy of all financial reporting while following the local tax/audit regulatory requirements..
Your deliverables to the finance department will contribute to the smooth and efficient running of the business.
Maintain financial security by adhering to internal controls, accounting standards, and tax requirementsReconcile discrepancies arising between the system and finance records, proactively seek for solution to identify and minimize the differencesPerform monthly closing including account receivable and revenue functionPrepare monthly financial and management reporting packagePerform monthly cashflow forecastPrepare and provide accounting schedules and GST returnSupport auditing and prepare Financial Statements Communicating with various stakeholders for new initiatives and processes improvementPerform other related ad-hoc duties as assigned Possess a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or ACCA, CA or its equivalentStrong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work well with people across different culturesPositive and result drivenGood sense of logic and analytical thinkingA team player with good organization skillSolid accounting knowledge as well as local tax/audit regulationHands-on/relevant working experience in a finance operating environmentProficient in Microsoft Excel and good command in English, both written and oralFlexible and bright personality, open to commit in a dynamic environmentExperience with voluminous data management, statistics and research methodology will be a plusPlease note that this role is based in Malaysia KL office (relocation not provided)#LI-JL2
