This dual-role position requires a highly organized, meticulous, and proactive professional to manage both the daily financial operations of the company and provide comprehensive executive support to the CEO/MD.
The role demands expertise in accounting principles, high-level administrative efficiency, and the ability to operate under pressure with precision.
Maintain daily books of account on an ongoing basis.
Regularly reconcile records of bank and cash transactions and maintain the bank reconciliation statement.
Assist in the preparation of the Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss (P&L) statement after the closing of books.
Maintain detailed schedules of key accounts for financial audit purposes.
Prepare various Management Information System (MIS) reports from accounting records as per Management requirements.
Review Debtors outstanding on an ongoing basis and report on overdue balances.
Receive and record cheques, cash, and other receipts from customers and other income.
Analyze fund balance and prepare documentation for placing bank deposits.
Record and ensure proper filing of payment vouchers and vendor bills.
Assist with the payment of Advance Tax, TDS payment, and filing TDS returns, as well as Service tax calculation, payment, and filing returns.
Prepare a database/repository of new circulars, pronouncements, etc., as applicable.
Handle routine financial correspondence.
Manage the CEO/MD's diary, business schedules, and calendar, including arranging meetings, conference calls, and booking appointments.
Organize incoming information, keeping abreast of all priorities and events.
Schedule and coordinate internal and external meetings, including logistics, hotel requirements, and preparation of meeting material.
Organize and coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, including booking flights, accommodation, and transfers.
Prepare agendas and overseas travel itineraries when necessary.
Arrange for Visas for the Senior Team.
Process expense claims.
Handle confidential documents.
Handle internal and external queries, coordinating responses/information from across the team.
Maintain a database of all contacts and cards.
Create and maintain a filing system for the CEO's personal and confidential files.
Receive visitors, arrange conference calls, and schedule meetings.
Assist clients with hotel and car booking as needed.
Qualification
BCom and Graduate
Work Experience
5-7 years, preferably in Investment Banking
Must be able to hit the ground running .
In-depth Knowledge of accounting principles and practices .
Previous experience in general accounting .
Expertise in Tally, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, etc.) .
Knowledge of taxation and various accounting packages .
Superb communication skills , both verbal and written, with a good command over English to communicate with Asia-Pacific level colleagues and global counterparts.
Excellent organizational skills and a high degree of speed and accuracy in execution of all tasks.
Strong problem-solving skills .
Ability to work well as part of a team .
Ability to pick up new ideas in a short time frame .
