About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounts and HR Executive to join our team at Geometra Worldwide Movers Pte Ltd, a leading provider of international moving and relocation services.

In this full-time role, you will be responsible for managing the company's financial accounting and reporting, as well as overseeing human resources functions.

The position is based in our Paya Lebar East Region office.

What you'll be doing

  • Responsible for a full set of accounts
  • Prepare, examine, and analyze financial statements, accounting records, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards
  • Prepare sales invoices for customers
  • Record and prepare payment of supplier invoices
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Management of cash flow - weekly
  • Maintenance of the general ledger, including posting of journals, maintenance of prepayments, accruals, COS, and deferred income schedules.

    Resolution of any issues to ensure records remain accurate
  • Maintenance of Fixed Asset Registers and depreciation
  • Prepare and submit quarterly GST returns
  • Preparation and submission of government statistical surveys/ reports
  • Involve in monthly stock-take exercise
  • Liaise with banks, insurance, auditors and tax agents
  • Resolve accounting discrepancies and keep accurate and updated accounting records
  • Resolve customers' payment discrepancies and billing disputes/queries
  • Processing payroll for employees
  • Monthly CPF submission
  • Maintaining accurate payroll records and filing payroll tax returns
  • Managing time and attendance records
  • Preparation and issuance of Appointment Letters
  • Posting of job advertisements when needed
  • Responsible for work pass administration such as work pass applications, renewal, cancellation and issuance.

  • Ensure timely & accurate submissions in all government and related claims, e.g. CPF, Childcare Leave, Maternity/Paternity Leave, NS makeup claims, income tax (IR8A & IR21) matters etc.

  • Document filing
  • Ad-hoc duties as assigned by management

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar accounts and HR role, preferably in the logistics or moving industry
  2. Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices, as well as HR policies and procedures
  3. Proficient in using accounting software and HR management systems
  4. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  5. Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  6. A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset
  7. Relevant qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or Human Resources
