Key Responsibilities
- Assist with full set of accounts for multiple client entities, including data entry, AP/AR, GL, and bank reconciliations.
- Support the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Help prepare tax submissions (e.g. GST, corporate tax) and ensure compliance with statutory deadlines.
- Coordinate with internal accountants and liaise with auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretarial teams when needed.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records for all assigned clients.
- Provide administrative and clerical support to the accounting team as required.
- Assist in the implementation of accounting systems and process improvements.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in accounting or an audit/accounting firm preferred (entry-level candidates with internships in similar environments may also be considered).
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a willingness to learn.
- Able to work under pressure and manage multiple client deadlines.
- Good communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
