Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with month-end closing and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare monthly and annual management reports (BS, PL and relevant schedules) and simple consolidation.
- Assist with basic financial analysis and schedules for internal reporting.
- Record bank transactions and reconcile bank statements with company records.
- Assist in the reconciliation of intercompany transactions and balances
- Preparing and submitting tax returns, including GST, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Support the preparation of audit schedules and respond to auditor inquiries
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by senior staff.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accountancy, ACCA/CPA qualified (or equivalent practical experience).
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an accounting or finance-related role, or fresh graduates with a strong understanding of accounting principles.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles (e.g., journal entries, consolidation, basic reporting).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Microsoft Dynamic 365) is an advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
Compensation:
- Work location: Farrer Park, Singapore
- 5 working days per week: Monday to Friday
- Variable bonus
- Annual leave starting with 18 days
