Job Purpose:
The Accounts Assistant is responsible for performing accounting and administrative works for the effective processing of accounts payable transactions.
The role also works closely with the Accounts & Operations Manager to support other period closing accounting duties.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all receipts and transaction entries are accurately recorded
- Assist in monthly closing
- Perform accounts receivables duties
- Perform monthly bank reconciliation
- Ensure accurate and timely billing
- Monitoring of outstanding debtors' accounts to recover overdue debts
- Handling of inquiries of payment from creditors
- Daily filing and maintenance of documents
- Liaise with the operation team in obtaining complete supporting documents
- Handling phone calls and email queries relating to accounts
- Perform administrative works
- Other ad-hoc duties assigned by superior and Management
Qualifications:
LCCI / Any Accountancy relevant certification
Experience/ Proficiency:
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in accountancy
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Required to communicate Chinese speaking clients and vendors, mandarin speaking proficiency is required
