Role Title: Accounts Executive

Reports To: Senior Accounts Executive & Head – Accounts & Finance
Job Purpose (Role Summary)
The Accounts Executive will be responsible for supporting the Senior Accounts Executive in day-to-day accounting functions and operational activities.
This role involves handling accounts, statutory compliances, payroll, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth financial operations.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Graduate / Diploma in Accounting & Taxation
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounts & Statutory Compliance roles
- Industry Experience: Any industry with exposure to Accounts & Compliance
- Other Requirements: Willingness to learn and perform as per training provided
- Candidate Preference: Local candidates / Singaporean
Key Areas of Responsibility Accounts
- Review of Accounts Payable, including:
- Vendor payments (PO issuance, approvals, bill review, rebilling, monitoring, reconciliation, and closure).
- Expense review (recording, verification with policies, documentation, and approvals).
- Salary (including yearly bonus) and employee reimbursement processing.
- Petty cash management.
- Support in closure of pending sales orders, invoicing, and related documentation.
- Bank statement review and monthly bank reconciliations.
- Ledger scrutiny and reconciliations on a monthly basis.
- Recording transactions in accounting software.
- Preparation of statements and workings for internal and external requirements.
- Support during internal and statutory audits.
Statutory Compliances
- Ensure annual compliance with statutory laws, insurance, safety regulations, and Ministry of Manpower requirements.
- GST Compliance:
- Assist in preparation of GST workings and submission of quarterly GST returns.
- Review of supporting documentation (e.g., signed and stamped delivery notes for zero-rated sales).
HR
- Payroll preparation and processing.
- Review of employee documentation and records.
- Maintenance of leave and attendance records.
- Processing of employee visa applications and Ministry of Manpower pass requirements.
Inventory Management
- Assist logistics and stores functions in periodic physical stock-taking.
- Maintain Fixed Asset Register and conduct annual physical verification.
General
- Maintain and prepare documentation, including policies and processes.
- Prepare MIS reports as required.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external agencies such as banks, auditors, recruitment agencies, and vendors.

Pay: Up to $3,000.00 per year
Education:
- Bachelor's or equivalent (Preferred)
