Overview
Accounts Manager role at Arrow Electronics.


What You’ll Do
Define critical markets and new customers in the assigned sales territory, plan strategy and develop all key relationships to ensure a strong foundation for solution selling.


Maintain and promote relationships with customer contacts who may be determining design opportunities and deal with existing business challenges.


Ensure customer satisfaction as it pertains to supply chain management and other value-added services.


Interact with vendors and customers in a technical and engineering environment.


Understand pricing programs and models within the electronics industry.


Develop strategic plans for all assigned accounts, selling and marketing Arrow’s full offerings with in-depth knowledge of Arrow’s supplier lines.


Prepare comprehensive internal quarterly business reviews (iQBR), presenting strategic plans and implementation steps to grow sales, drive demand creation and improve customer service; lead regular QBRs with major customers to unlock additional opportunities.


Promote and sell the value-add, supply chain, and full lifecycle programs offered by Arrow.


Proficiency in sales tracking systems, including Salesforce.com and Oracle.


Establish and build relationships with key suppliers.


What We Are Looking For
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.


At least 6-8 years’ experience in electronic component sales/marketing or business development.


Strong understanding of distribution sales and business operations.


Ability to size and scope priorities in the market, understand competitive advantages and deploy resources to grow market share.


Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.


Ability to build good relationships with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.


Proactive and strategic mindset to win business.


Resilience, energetic and positive attitude.
