Key Responsibilities
1.
Support for Service Operations
- Assist the Senior Service Manager in daily service operations, ensuring smooth deployment of technicians and resources.
- Carry out assigned service, repair, and maintenance tasks for ACMV/HVAC systems under close supervision.
- Provide timely updates and escalate unresolved technical issues to the Senior Service Manager.
2.
Technical Assistance
- Support in troubleshooting and servicing of air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation (ACMV) equipment, including VRV/VRF systems, chillers, AHUs, and controls.
- Assist in site inspections, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Document technical findings and submit service reports for review.
3.
Coordination & Communication
- Liaise with internal technicians, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth service workflows.
- Assist in scheduling and follow-up of preventive and corrective maintenance works.
- Coordinate with clients on-site when directed by the Senior Service Manager.
4.
Administrative & Reporting Duties
- Prepare and update service logs, job reports, and equipment checklists.
- Maintain proper records of tools, spare parts, and consumables used during service works.
- Provide input for quotations, proposals, and technical documentation as assigned.
5.
Learning & Development
- Work closely with the Senior Service Manager to learn technical skills, service management, and client handling .
- Participate in training, toolbox meetings, and safety briefings.
- Progressively take on more responsibility with the goal of developing into a Service Engineer role
Education & Experience
Education:
Diploma or NITEC/Higher NITEC in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or related field.
Candidates with strong technical certifications in ACMV/HVAC systems will be considered.
Experience:
1–3 years of relevant experience in service, maintenance, or installation of ACMV/HVAC systems preferred.
Fresh graduates or entry-level candidates with relevant internship/industrial attachment experience are encouraged to apply.
Basic knowledge of VRV/VRF systems, chillers, AHUs, FCUs, and control systems will be advantageous.
Familiarity with safety procedures, permit-to-work systems, and industry practices is preferred.
