Our internship program is designed to provide students with exposure into our reinsurance business, and to develop skills to promote personal and professional development.
This internship in the Actuarial Department will give you the opportunity to be involved in various areas in reinsurance valuation and internal projects.
This role places you with the South Asia Valuation Team, who are responsible for computing the liability and capital positions of the fast-growing South Asia macro market.
The South Asia macro market covers 3 offices writing business in c.20 countries.
You will support the South Asia Valuaton Team in producing its valuation deliverables, in addition to working on process improvements.
Valuation activities focus on IFRS, Solvency II, local statutory/solvency reporting, and experience analysis
Key duties and responsibilities
The Life Actuarial Intern will support the team in the following tasks:
Support in the continuous improvement of actuarial reporting processes, analyses and controls across the South Asia macro market.
Assist in the preparation of assigned reports and deliverables
Any other ad-hoc project

Skills and Personal Competences:
Effective verbal and written communication, time management and organization skills
Good knowledge of MS Excel
Experience in programming is a plus
Keen interest to understand and build on actuarial models
Excellent team player

Required Education
Pursuing bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, economics, finance, or related field with a strong quantitative orientation.
