Contract Duration: 12 Months
Salary Range: $2,580 - $3,160 per month
Working Hours: 8.30am – 6.00pm (Monday to Thursday), 8.30am – 5.30pm (Friday)
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Admin Support Officer to assist in adoption-related services.
In this role, you will support the adoption process through administrative work, social assessments, and collaboration with various professionals.

Key Responsibilities
As an Admin Support Officer, you will:
- Assist in Adoption Processes: Review and process adoption applications submitted by prospective adopters.
- Conduct Social Investigations: Support interviews, home visits, and character reference checks under supervision.
- Prepare Reports: Draft social reports, affidavits, and other necessary documentation.
- Administrative Support: Ensure all documentation is accurate, maintain records, and assist with data entry.
- Collaborate with Professionals: Work closely with a network of sector professionals and contribute to multi-disciplinary discussions.
Requirements
- Education: Diploma or Degree in Social Sciences or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Prior social service experience is an advantage but not required.
- Skills and Competencies:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Interpersonal skills and ability to work with clients and stakeholders
- Ability to remain calm and professional in sensitive situations
- Strong organizational and administrative skills

- Home Visit Requirements: Home visits may occasionally be conducted after regular working hours, though they are typically within working hours.
You will be provided time off in lieu for any after-hours visits.
