Job description

Job Overview:

The Administrative Health Care Support Specialist is responsible for the effective administration and operation of duties assigned at the Reception Counter.

This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend to reception duties, providing exceptional customer service to patients and visitors.

  • Register cases and prepare necessary documents for patient visits, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

  • Provide financial counseling to patients, addressing their queries and concerns.

  • Perform cashiering duties, collecting payment from patients and reconciling daily collection reports with actual collections.

  • Answer phone queries from patients, responding promptly and professionally.

  • Chaperone and assist doctors during consultation, maintaining patient confidentiality and dignity.

  • Make and accept appointments for consultation, ensuring timely scheduling and follow-up.

  • Submit Medisave applications, verify account balances, and update records accordingly.

  • Cover duties of other staff during their absence, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.

Requirements:

  • Possess at least 2 years' relevant working experience in a healthcare setting.

  • Knowledge of Clinic Assist software will be an added advantage, enhancing workflow efficiency and productivity.

  • Work schedule includes 3 days a week, with set working hours (Monday: 8:30 am - 1:30 pm, Wednesday: 5:00 pm - 10:30 pm, Saturday: 8:30 am - 1:30 pm).

    Additional ad-hoc coverage may be required when covering staff on leave.
