What You Will Do
- Refurbish aircraft blades and vanes through Advanced Coating processes (e.g. Electrode Beam Physical Vapor Deposition and Cathodic Arc coating).
- Conduct pre-coating tasks (preparation) essential for coating process.
- Ensure adequate setup of machines critical for coating operations.
- Ensure parts are refurbished in accordance with required operation standards and procedures.
- Monitor and understand process controls to ensure parameters are met.
- Ensure safe machines operations and readiness at all times.
- Conduct turnaround for machines and basic fixture maintenance.
- Participate in the EH&S programs and takes personal responsibility to ensure safety adherence.
- Support the continuous improvement programs, CORE (Customer Oriented Results & Excellence) activities and additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications You Must Have
- NITEC or Diploma in Engineering or relevant disciplines.
- Min 2 years' relevant experience operating machinery or working in a manufacturing environment.
- No experience or mid-careers with a keen interest in joining the Aerospace industry are welcome.
- A positive and learning mindset with keen interests to learning new technology.
- Ability to understand basic technical instructions and standard operation procedures (SOP).
- Comfortable with hands-on work to operate with the equipment and basic process troubleshooting knowledge.
- Able to use basic MS Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Willing to work on rotating shifts (Day & Night) and overtime on need basis.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Relevant aerospace, manufacturing, or precision engineering experience.
- Basic working knowledge of MS Office application and SAP.
