As an Advanced Field Service Engineer here at Honeywell, you will provide advanced technical support in Industrial Automation, troubleshoot complex issues, ensure solution implementation, and drive customer satisfaction
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ **Technical Service & Support** - Perform installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of equipment at customer sites.
+ Provide timely and effective technical support to clients.
+ Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
+ Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures during service activities.
+ **Project Management** - Lead and manage service-related projects including upgrades, retrofits, and system integrations.
+ Develop project plans, schedules.
+ Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and customers to ensure project milestones are met.
+ Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports.
+ Ensure project documentation is complete and accurate.
+ **Customer Interaction** - Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
+ Provide training and technical guidance to end-users.
+ Address customer concerns and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
+ Experience in project management and execution.
+ **Documentation & Reporting** - Maintain detailed service records and project documentation.
+ Prepare service reports, project updates, and feedback for continuous improvement.
+ Customer Support and Consultation: Providing technical consultation to customers on system operations, performing training, and ensuring customer satisfaction through timely resolution of issues.
+ System Commissioning and Maintenance: Conducting initial system startup, commissioning, system upgrades, and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
+ Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution: Diagnosing system malfunctions, conducting root cause analyses, and implementing corrective actions promptly.
+ Documentation and Reporting: Preparing detailed service reports, documenting issues, resolutions, and system configurations, adhering to Honeywell standards.
+ Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities for system enhancements, process improvements, and sharing best practices with teams.
**Key Experience & Capabilities:**
+ **Technical Expertise** : In-depth knowledge of Honeywell automation, control systems, SCADA, DCS, PLCs, instrumentation, and network protocols (Ethernet/IP, MODBUS, etc.).
+ **Field Experience** : Proven experience in field engineering roles within industrial automation, power plants, oil & gas, manufacturing, or related sectors or commercial building or offices
+ **Communication Skills** : Strong ability to communicate complex technical information to customers and internal teams effectively.
+ **Problem-Solving Abilities** : Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting complex systems under time constraints.
+ **Educational Background** : Typically requires an engineering degree (Electrical, Mechanical, or control systems) or equivalent practical experience.
+ **Certifications and Training** : Certifications related to control systems, safety, or specific Honeywell products are advantageous.
+ **Travel Requirements** : The role often involves extensive travel to customer sites, sometimes globally, to implement and support Honeywell systems.
+ **Work Environment** : Field engineers work in diverse environments, including industrial plants, manufacturing facilities, and construction sites, often in variable shifts.
+ **Career Path** : This position typically serves as a stepping stone towards senior engineering, technical management, or specialized roles within Honeywell.
