Key Responsibilities

Implement and enable applications for Splunk APM, RUM, and Synthetic monitoring.

Onboard new applications and services to Splunk observability platforms.

Maintain and enhance Splunk observability tools, including Infrastructure Monitoring.

Continuously tune and optimize alert rules to improve accuracy and reduce noise.

Coordinate with Operations for patching and upgrading Splunk agents across environments.

Proactively monitor hosts, applications, and infrastructure to detect issues early.

Create and fine-tune dashboards for actionable insights into system health.

Configure and manage paging and alerting duties for timely incident response.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to expand monitoring coverage.

Organize and lead bi-monthly operational meetings on Splunk and monitoring activities.

Balance BAU tasks with continuous monitoring enhancements.

Develop and update SOPs and knowledge base articles.

Requirements

Diploma/Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related fields.

Minimum 3 years of experience in IT monitoring, system engineering, or related roles.

Strong knowledge of Splunk Observability tools (APM, RUM, Synthetic, Infrastructure Monitoring).

Hands-on experience in alert tuning, dashboard creation, and incident monitoring.
