Description
:
- Manage the open source repositories, ensuring all codes are properly structured, tagged, and are in working order.
- Create, track, manage, and engage the community on issues relating to the codebase, including bugs and feature requests.
- Prioritise issues and requests according to urgency and alignment to the overall Foundation roadmap, identifying potential interactions between issues and making the necessary tradeoff decisions.
- Implement and keep up to date the CI/CD pipeline processes and testing suites, ensuring that automated testing runs smoothly.
- Review all pull requests and new code contributions for code fidelity and quality, maintaining the long-term calibre of the codebase.
- Actively respond to queries and discussions, including new feature requests and support tickets, while building a strong developer community around the project.
Requirements:
- Have at least 5 years of demonstrable, hands-on coding experience, ideally in full stack development.
- Familiar with Python and JavaScript, with some experience working on frontend frameworks such as Node and/or React.
- Can navigate your way around GitHub, tweak GitHub Actions, and prune issues with your eyes closed.
- Proficient with CI/CD tools and concepts, such as Lint, PyTest, and automated build and test approaches.
Knowledge of security IAST and SCA tools is a plus. - Able to community effectively, codeswitching between tweaking code and engaging people effortlessly.
- Knowledge of software architecture concepts and/or open source project management is an advantage.
