Overview
Analyst - Application Administration role at Mizuho.
Responsibilities
- Provide IT support for system operations
- Conduct server, application and database health checks
- Escalate any error if necessary and report any new issues to Manager
- Perform regular operation tasks like data patching, program release, server/program reboot, etc.
- Perform regular housekeeping and maintenance tasks for servers
- Manage, create and apply system certificates on a yearly basis
- Support scheduled shift duties from Mon to Fri excluding public holidays
- Support hours 1st shift (0700 to 1600) and 2nd shift (1400 to 2300)
- Ability to work on weekends for regular maintenance (usually 2 weekends per month)
- Support Manager on any project related task or any ad-hoc duties assigned
- Lead and run projects to improve the daily task process to improve the efficiency of the operations
- Lead and plan for the Monthly Maintenance along with the other counterparty
- Create and Maintain a yearly run book of the operations
Requirements
- A relevant Diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of ITIL framework will be preferred
- At least 2 years of experience in IT Production Service support within a financial institute (preferably in a bank)
- Knowledge of SQL command or System Delivery is a plus
- Have good sense of security as staff will be operating in production environment
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with colleagues and create a team spirit
- Excellent oral and written skills in English
- Able to work according to different shifts
