Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive
Analyst
to join our
Financial Planning & Data Analysis (FP&DA)
team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in
analysing, cleaning, and collating data
relating to development projects, investment performance, capital raising activities, and operational effectiveness.
This data will feed into high-quality reports and dashboards for the Board, senior management, and external stakeholders, with the FP&DA team as ‘owners’ of this data.
This job offers exposure to a wide range of operations and the opportunity to turn raw data into actionable insights and business impact.
Responsibilities
Data Collection & Collation
Gather data from internal teams (development, investments, operations, finance) and external sources
Maintain organised data repositories for ongoing analysis and reporting
Data Cleaning & Quality Control
Validate and reconcile datasets to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency
Identify data gaps, anomalies, and inconsistencies; work with relevant teams to resolve them
Data Analysis & Insights
Perform basic to intermediate data analysis to support financial modelling and performance tracking
Summarise findings into clear visuals, tables, and dashboards for reporting purposes
Assist in developing KPIs to measure project performance and operational effectiveness
Forecasting
Utilising and extrapolating the data to prepare budget and forecasts
Reporting Support
Prepare data inputs for management and board reporting packs
Prepare presentations and summary reports for senior stakeholders and investors
Support the FP&DA team in ad-hoc analysis and scenario modelling
Process Improvement
Recommend and implement improvements in data capture, storage, and reporting processes
Support automation initiatives to improve data efficiency
Requirements
Minimally 2-4 years of work experience in funds management, finance, analytics, or real estate
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field
Strong proficiency in systems (EPM)
Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookup functions, data formatting)
Experience with data visualisation tools (Power BI, or similar)
Understanding of financial statements and investment concepts
Strong attention to detail with a methodical approach to data cleaning and validation
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication skills to work with different departments and stakeholders
