We are seeking an Analytics platform engineer to become a member of our Decision Intelligence team, within the Analytics team.

The Analytics team, which is under Integration, Data and Analytics Foundations, part of the Digital Foundations within Chief Technology Office, is responsible for creating a seamless experience for analytics experts to harness the potential of data and interactive analytics.

The Decision intelligence team plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between data engineering and data analysis.

This role involves demonstrating skills and gaining experience in platform engineering, automations, observability, and innovations.

As a platform engineer, you will collaborate with the Technical lead, Technical Platform Owner, Architects, and other stakeholders from the company to develop scalable and high‑performing enterprise platforms.

The position requires technical engineering of the platforms and enabling capabilities in compliance with best practices.

It also involves working on cross‑platform activities.

What you’ll do

• Support architecting, designing, planning, building and operating activities related to Decision Intelligence platforms in the company.
  
  
• Coordinate geographically distributed teams in support of platform engineering activities; automation, upgrade and patch coordination, platform administration guidance, monitoring, troubleshooting and performance analysis.
  
  
• As a subject matter expert drive the definition of best practices, platform governance and platform delivery guidelines.
  
  
• Support Decision Intelligence technology roadmap and future state capabilities.
  
  
• Write technical documentation including, but not limited to configuration artifacts, infrastructure/technical diagrams, installation qualification and validation documentation.
  
  
• Maintain current industry knowledge of best practices and procedures.
  
  
• Provide technical expertise and support to internal stakeholders and implementation teams.
  
  
• Effectively engage, both in person and virtually, with a global, multi‑cultural team across different products to identify and leverage synergies.
  
  

We are seeking professionals with the following qualifications, skills and experience:

Education Minimum Requirement

• BSc in IT, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  
  

Required skills

• A strong understanding of Power BI, Qlik Sense, Spotfire and similar tools.
  
  Architectural understanding and platform engineering experience on these tools.
  
  
• Experience in building and supporting large scale visualization platforms and solutions using modern cloud technologies.
  
  
• Proficiency in SQL, Python and Powershell.
  
  
• Good understanding of AWS cloud eco system and hands on experience with services like EC2, RDS, Lambda etc.
  
  
• Good understanding of Terraform and CI/CD tools.
  
  
• Familiarity with Release Management, Problem and Incident Management, Software Development Life Cycle best practices.
  
  
• Ability to clearly communicate technical and non‑technical information verbally and in writing.
  
  
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to quickly establish credibility and trust with a variety of stakeholders.
  
  

Nice to have skills

• Knowledge of Azure cloud services.
  
  
• Basic understanding of Power Platform tools.
  
  
• Prior experience in developing and launching multi‑tenant platforms that cater to technical user base.
  
  
• Knowledge and experience of any Conversational BI tool.
  
  
• Basic understanding of Copilots, LLM’s and AI Agents.
  
  
• Certifications in one or more cloud technologies.
