Job Description:

Job Responsibilities

  • To hunt, identify and engage with potential customers, understanding their specific needs and tailoring solutions to meet their requirements.

  • To develop long term customer relationships and work with customers on innovative and compelling supply chain solutions
  • To grow the revenue and profit of CL business by securing new wins and increasing the size and quality of the targets
  • Responsible to lead and manage RFQ responses for contract logistics.

  • Maintain synergy with cross-functional relationships with the Solutions & engineering, Operations and IT team.

  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and quotations.

  • Undertake cross selling and up selling within existing customer base to further develop account potential through contract logistics
  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.

  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.

  • Negotiate contracts and terms of agreements, aiming to maximize profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction.

  • Keep accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions in the CRM system.

  • Participate in industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.

Job Requirements

  • Possess a Degree in Business, Logistics & Supply Chain or related fields
  • Possess at least 7 years of business development/field sales experience, preferably in the APAC contract logistics market.

    Past APAC regional exposure will be advantageous.

  • Willing to do occasional business travel to APAC countries when required
  • Demonstrate good communication and presentation skills
  • Proven track record and display drive in meeting sales targets
