About The Role

The APAC Community Lead will expand Sei’s presence across key Asia Pacific markets by building and managing a strong network of regional advocates and KOLs. This role will lead the community strategy for APAC, from identifying and onboarding thought leaders to scaling their reach through localized campaigns, coordinated messaging, and community activations.

You will create systems to track and amplify advocate output, driving consistent growth in impressions, engagement, and mindshare.

Working with growth, community, and product teams, this role will close Sei’s regional gap and build a thriving APAC advocate program.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, onboard, and manage a network of APAC-based advocates and KOLs to grow Sei’s mindshare
  • Build scalable systems to activate and track advocate output across content, community engagement, and brand presence
  • Coordinate regular touchpoints with top contributors to align on messaging, product updates, and campaign opportunities
  • Source and manage localized amplification opportunities, including KOL cross-posting, Twitter Spaces, and content syndication

What We're Looking For

  • Crypto-native with a deep understanding of APAC social and community dynamics
  • At least 1k followers on X, with good content quality & communities engaged with
  • Experience working directly with KOLs, creators, and contributors across multiple platforms.

  • Strong judgment around narrative alignment
  • Fluent in English and at least one major APAC language (Mandarin, Korean, Japanese, Bahasa, Vietnamese, etc.)

Nice to haves

  • Experience working at a large blockchain foundation or Traditional Finance institution
  • Prior success building social communities for a Layer 1 blockchain, or large scale DeFi project
  • Strong connections with influencers and creators in the crypto space
