About the role:
We are looking for an experienced and versatile
DevOps Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer
with deep technical expertise across both Microsoft and open-source ecosystems.
The ideal candidate will bring strong, hands‐on experience in
Azure
— this is essential.
Familiarity with
AWS
is considered a plus but not required.
You’ll play a key role in supporting, developing, and optimizing CTM’s hybrid infrastructure—ensuring performance, security, scalability, and reliability across both cloud and on‐premises systems.
This includes working with Java‐based platforms as well as containerized .NET applications deployed in modern CI/CD environments.
This is a role for someone who thrives in autonomy: you will be expected to take ownership of goals or problems and independently navigate toward robust, reliable solutions — not just execute tasks when instructed.
Responsibilities and Duties
Oversee monitoring of both cloud and on‐premises infrastructure systems.
Manage responses to logged tickets via JIRA.
Verify monitoring data within native
Azure
solutions, as well as third‐party tools such as Zabbix, Graylog, OSSIM, etc.
Monitor backup systems and conduct periodic test restores.
Develop and maintain automated monitoring and alerting systems.
Stay current with new and best‐practice technologies.
Recommend and implement automated and innovative approaches for both cloud and system administration tasks.
Investigate performance bottlenecks, propose improvements, and contribute to ongoing automation initiatives.
Operations, Maintenance & Documentation
Execute infrastructure‐as‐code deployments, including ARM templates and Azure Blueprints.
Apply configuration changes, security patches, updates, and upgrades.
Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis for issues across cloud and on‐premises environments.
Support and maintain Java‐based SaaS platforms as well as .NET Core applications running in containerized environments.
Collaborate with vendors and stakeholders as needed.
Maintain clear documentation of work, procedures, and changes.
Work collaboratively with team members and other departments.
Support the growth of team members through coaching, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.
Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
Be proactive in identifying issues and opportunities and take initiative in driving change.
Education and Experience
What YOU Need
You are technically excellent, curious, and self‐directed, with solid engineering principles, proven troubleshooting ability, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
You work well with minimal supervision and can confidently take a problem statement and run with it.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in infrastructure and cloud management for enterprise‐scale SaaS environments (Java or .NET‐based).
Technical Skills - Must Have
Cloud:
Minimum 3 years of hands‐on experience with
Azure .
(AWS is a plus but not required.)
Infrastructure as Code:
ARM templates, PowerShell, Python.
Monitoring Tools:
Zabbix, Graylog or similar.
Application Platforms:
Experience with Java‐based platforms (e.g., Wildfly) and containerized .NET Core applications.
CI/CD & DevOps Tools:
Git, Jenkins, Puppet, JIRA, Confluence.
Security & Compliance:
Understanding of PCI‐DSS, patching, backups, test restores.
Nice to Have
Azure or AWS certifications.
Experience with VMWare, shared storage systems, or data center infrastructure.
Experience with ITIL change control processes.
Exposure to AWS environments.
