This role focuses on developing a user‐friendly application to help music composers archive their works, manage associated metadata, and ensure accurate royalty payments.
The project aims to streamline the process for composers to register and upload their music, with seamless integration to relevant collection societies for royalty tracking.
The application should be built using AppSheet or a comparable no‐code platform, supporting remote collaboration and scalability for future enhancements.
Deliverables
Design and develop an AppSheet (or similar) application for music work registration and metadata management
Implement secure user registration and authentication for composers
Enable uploading and archiving of music files with detailed metadata
Integrate workflows for registering works with collection societies
Develop dashboards or reporting tools for royalty tracking and management
Ensure the app supports remote collaboration and is scalable for future features
Provide documentation and basic user training materials
Qualifications
Proven experience building applications with AppSheet or similar no‐code/low‐code platforms
Strong understanding of database design, data security, and user authentication
Familiarity with music industry workflows, especially music registration and royalty collection, is highly desirable
Ability to integrate third‐party APIs or automate workflows for external registrations
Excellent problem‐solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting
Availability for potential follow‐up work and ongoing support
