Overview

Join to apply for the Application Support Analyst CMI role at Crédit Agricole CIB .

The position is within the Capital Markets IT (CMI) division which manages information systems for capital markets activities including Front Office (FO) booking platforms, Risk Management (RM) control and regulatory reporting systems, financial product and contract valuation systems, and more.

“Run the bank” is the first mission of the IT department.

It involves front line IT professionals who understand business operations, timing of activities and data flowing through internal and external systems.

They work with business users, infrastructure engineers and system managers.

CMI teams are located in Paris, London, New York, Hong Kong, India, Singapore and Montreal.

The current position is based in Singapore and the successful candidate will work in an international context with distributed engineering teams striving for high-quality architecture and design.

The candidate will join the Singapore Capital Market Run the Bank team in charge of running capital markets applications for SALES.

Main Responsibilities

  • Define and implement in coordination with the build team the needed application monitoring.

  • Supervise and monitor daily and monthly chains and handle user requests by working closely with project, infrastructure and production teams.

  • Support overnight batches which take place during the Singapore morning and early afternoon to ensure problems are swiftly analyzed and resolved to minimize downtime.

  • Process and issue daily, weekly and monthly reporting on data quality of the risk chain, with higher activity during monthly runs.

Incidents and Requests management

  • Provide level 1 and level 2 application support to business users (trader, risk manager, market risk monitoring operator, back-office and middle-office analyst, market data administrator, etc).

  • Analyze and manage incidents, problems and requests.

Problem management and continuous improvement

  • Prepare and maintain knowledge base for each application in the scope of the team in coordination with the build and ops teams.

  • Collaborate with the build team to assess priority of problems and follow up resolutions, contributing to long-term solutions where applicable.

  • Provide non-functional requirements to the build team to implement monitoring as code where available.

The Support analyst should have a proactive mindset in security, incident prevention, productivity and overall service quality improvement.

Candidates should have a strong appetite for capital markets functional business.

Qualifications And Profile

The candidate must have a strong appetite in capital markets functional business.

  • Minimum 5 years experience in application support activity (in capital markets IT is a plus)
  • ITIL certification
  • Good understanding of Capital Markets Domain and exposure to FO/BO systems
  • Understanding of trade life cycle, financial products (Treasury, FX, Bonds, Credit, IRD…)
  • 2+ years experience with IT applications handling valuation, reconciliations, payments and confirmations
  • Proven experience with SQL
  • High level of proficiency in Unix/Linux scripting
  • SLA & KPI management, client communication & interaction
  • Predictive analysis, consulting and escalation management
  • Automation-minded with a drive for continuous improvement
  • Strong knowledge in XML, PL/SQL, MQ, CFT and Control-M
  • Knowledge of monitoring solutions (e.g., ITRS Geneos, Elastic Search)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Autonomous, self-motivated and a strong team player
