As an Architecture Engineer, you’ll
design, implement, and maintain secure infrastructure solutions for government projects .
This role is hands-on with hybrid cloud, on-prem, and network environments, ensuring compliance with
IM8 & CIS
standards while supporting operational excellence.
This is a fully on-site, full-time 12-month contract (renewable) role, requiring CAT 2 clearance.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Design and deploy secure infrastructure architectures (Solaris, Windows AD, RHEL, VMware, Dell EMC)
Build and optimize network and firewall solutions (routing, switching, Palo Alto, Check Point, SD-WAN)
Support Oracle/MS SQL database architecture for performance and security
Enforce compliance with IM8/CIS standards and document architecture decisions
Drive automation through Ansible, infrastructure-as-code, and architecture optimization
WHAT IS NEEDED FROM YOU
5–7 years’ experience in infrastructure/architecture engineering
Experience in government or regulated environments
Strong expertise in networking, security, virtualization, and systems architecture
Hands-on experience with automation frameworks (e.g., Ansible, Terraform)
Proven ability to design compliant, scalable, and secure architectures
Excellent documentation and stakeholder communication skills
WHAT WILL MAKE YOU STAND OUT
Previous CAT 2 clearance
Architecture certifications (TOGAF, AWS/Azure/GCP Solutions Architect, RHCA)
Security/networking certs (PCNSE, CCSM, CCNP)
Experience with government architecture standards and accreditation processes
Familiarity with ITIL practices and architecture governance
