Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products.
Perform mechanical assembly tasks on tooling and equipment for aerospace, oil & gas, and offshore systems.
Use hand-held tools such as screwdrivers, drill guns, and other assembly tools effectively and safely to complete assembly tasks.
Inspect assembled products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with the assembly or function of the products.
Conduct basic testing of assembled products and systems to ensure they are fully functional.
Maintain accurate records of assembly activities, including the tools and materials used, and report any discrepancies or issues that arise during the process.
Work closely with engineers and other technicians to ensure that the assembly process is performed correctly and efficiently.
Follow safety procedures and best practices while assembling products and handling equipment.
Always ensure a clean and safe work environment.
Assist in maintaining and cleaning tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
Requirements
Minimum Nitec in any discipline or equivalent.
Minimum of 2-year experience in assembly operations and components.
