The assembly technician's primary task is to perform a variety of optical to mechanical components assemblies.
Workmanship and cleanliness are ultra important to opto-mechanical assemblies.
If you
- are nimble with your hand,
- have a keen and sharp eye for details,
- are delicately careful in handling small component and fragile glass products,
- are able to operate handheld equipment and precision measurement instrument such as vernier callipers, dial indicators etc
- are able to rise up to challenges when called.

You are also
- dynamic, respectful, hardworking, inquisitive,
- able to execute tasks consistently according to procedures, work-flows or processes,
- able to communicate effectively and coordinate with co-workers, supervisors etc to perform daily tasks smoothly,
- willing to perform shift work or overtime work during operations peak periods,
- willing to perform any ad hoc task when assigned.
Having prior experience in optics related assembly or manufacturing work is not required but will be an added advantage.
On-the-job-training will also be provided until the technician is able to work independently with minimal supervision.
