Asset Management Business Analyst / Project Manager
Our client, a well-established multi-strategy hedge fund, is looking for a Lead Project Manager in Singapore to lead the firm’s strategic technology transformation.
The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of the end-to-end trade lifecycle, strong technical acumen, and the proven ability to manage complex Trading Application projects and diverse stakeholders across Investment, Operations, and Technology teams.
Responsibilities
Lead high impact projects that improve the investment platform.
Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle for assigned initiatives, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure.
Analyse, document, and validate business requirements from Portfolio Managers, Operations and IT teams for new system implementations and enhancements.
Provide subject matter expertise on portfolio and system functionalities, including but not limited to PnL, risk management, pre- and post-trade processes.
Manage stakeholder expectations effectively, building strong relationships and ensuring alignment on project goals and deliverables.
Originate and manage hedge fund trading workflow automation initiatives
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in a Business Analyst or Project Manager role within the financial industry, experience in the buy-side being highly preferred.
Strong and proven track record in delivering Trading Application projects, particularly third-party Portfolio Management System (PMS), Order Management System (OMS), or Execution Management System (EMS).
Knowledge in end-to-end trade lifecycle across multiple asset classes, e.g. Equities, Fixed Income, FX, Derivatives.
Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage with senior investment professionals.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
