Assistant / Associate Professor in International Political Economy (Tenure-Track / Tenured)

The S.

Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS) at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, is seeking to appoint an Assistant/Associate Professor (Tenure-Track/Tenured) in International Political Economy.

Applications are welcome from both early career and established scholars with demonstrated expertise in the substantive subfields of International Political Economy (e.g. international trade, finance, investment, global value chains, foreign direct investment, development, and technological innovation).

The successful candidate will be expected to be conceptually and empirically grounded in their own areas of specialisation; to demonstrate an active research and publication agenda; to teach, supervise, and examine in International Political Economy at the graduate level; to contribute to the administrative duties at the School; and to provide teaching and pastoral support to students.

A relevant PhD and a good publication record commensurate with the level of appointment are essential requirements.

Candidates must also submit evidence of demonstrated excellence in teaching.

If successful, the candidate will teach up to 3 courses per academic year.

  2. A detailed curriculum vitae (including records of competitive grants, fellowships, and graduate supervision, if applicable);

  3. Statements of research and teaching interests, and teaching evaluation;

  4. Three (3) published articles or writing samples;

  5. Google Scholar citation report, if available;

  6. Applicants applying for the Assistant Professor position, please include the names and contact details of THREE (3) referees of the rank of Associate Professor/Professor, or; Applicants applying for the Associate Professor position, please include the names and contact details of FOUR (4) referees of the rank of Professor.
