A global logistics services firm is inviting keen individuals to join its team as an Assistant Business Development Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Keep growing our existing customer accounts by spotting new opportunities and offering more what they need.
- Develop new business and identify potential clients to enhance the existing customer base.
- Follow up on all stages of the sales cycle, including lead generation, quoting, coordination with operational staff, project implementation.
- Development and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and efficiency across processes.
- Prepare sales material, presentations, and proposals tailored to customer needs.
- Respond to inquiries and manage RFQs (Request for Quotes), ensuring quick and effective communication with clients.
- Manage accounts receivable follow-up to ensure timely client payments and maintain healthy cash flow.
Job Requirements:
- Possess a Diploma or Degree preferably in Business or Logistics and Supply Chain Management or equivalent, with at least 5 years of Sales experience
- Have analytical and problem-solving ability, strong interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and ability to work effectively and efficiently in a diverse environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and absolutely needs to have a can-do attitude
