- Liaise with Consultants, contractors and authorities from inception to completion of projects
- Responsible for timely submission of reports and completion of projects for submission with target dates
- Manage projects to meet the time, cost and quality objectives
- Coordinate and monitor work progress at the site including periodical site inspection and attending meetings during the course of the construction of projects
- Perform engineering duties such as design, engineering calculations, planning, preparation and evaluations to as part of the team
- QA/QC of engineering documentation
- Liaison with clients, project managers, architects, contractors
- Assist in resolving any technical problems
- Equipment / Material Submission preparation to Client
- Managing the planning and design stages of projects
- Contributing technical expertise to project drawings and designs
- Performing cost calculations and preparing financial projections
- Preparing work schedules in collaboration with the project manager
- Liaising between contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers
- Where required, performing tests on materials and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations
- Ensuring that the construction project is completed on time and within budget
- Documenting processes and keeping detailed logs
- Presentingproject progress updates to clients and senior managers
- Preparation of site completion documents for submission
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent
- At least 5 years of experience in construction industry
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Good team player with ability to lead and multi-task
- Salary will commensurate with experience
