A assistant construction foreman is responsible for overseeing daily operations on a construction site, supervising a crew of workers, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards by managing schedules, assigning tasks, monitoring safety compliance, and coordinating with project managers and subcontractors to resolve issues and maintain project progress; essentially acting as the on-site leader for the construction workers.
Job Description:
- Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans
- Coordinate and supervise the work activity on site, monitor the daily progress and keep track based on schedule
- Produce schedules and monitor attendance of workers
- Allocate general and daily responsibilities
- Ensure manpower and resources are adequate
- Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met
- Supervise the use of machinery and equipment
- Monitor expenditure and ensure it remains within budget
- Resolve problems when they arise
- Report on progress to project managers, engineers etc
- Ensure safety and housekeeping is tomaintained to the highest standard
- To perform Ad-Hoc duties as per assigned
Entry Requirement:
Able to work independently with minimum supervision
Able to work Six days per week ( Monday to Saturday )
