The Diagnostics Development Hub (DxD Hub) is a publicly funded diagnostics productization platform that enables the development of In-Vitro Diagnostics and Digital Health products for health and economic impact in Singapore.
DxD Hub has cross-cutting, multidisciplinary diagnostics product development capabilities spanning Molecular Diagnostics, Next Gen Sequencing, Proteomics, Digital Health and Integrated diagnostics.
We work with public and private partners, supporting the transformation of the Medtech landscape in Singapore through innovative solutions.
This opening is for a role as an Assistant Director/ Senior Assistant Director in DxD Hub's Partnership team, which oversees partnerships development to enable DxD Hub to deliver on its strategic objectives and create value and impact to Singapore.
Job Description
Lead the development and alignment of partnership programmes which aligns with DxD Hub and A*STAR mission, fulfilling DxD's commercialization KPIs.
Translate overarching DxD Hub's strategies into actionable plans for the partnership team, coordinating across public sector and internal stakeholders and entities to achieve desired outcomes.
Lead business development projects that expand opportunities and strengthen DxD Hub's value proposition.
Work with DxD Hub's management to optimize operational processes to improve or streamline workflows, in alignment with industry and A*STAR best practices.
Support DxD Hub in training, coaching and developing key talents.
Job Requirements
A strong educational background in life sciences research or related field such as medical research is preferred but not essential.
Minimum 8-10 years working experience.
Prior industry experience in partnership/collaboration is an advantage.
Strong strategic and analytical thinking skills, familiar with qualitative and quantitative research.
Able to identify and contextualise stakeholder issues and manage them appropriately.
Able to work outside of organizational boundaries to engage external stakeholders as necessary.
Prior experience in fostering partnerships is an advantage.
Effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills.
Strong project management skills and ability to deliver results under tight timelines.
Able to work in a team as well as independently with minimal supervision, as well as guide team members to achieve their tasks.
Self-starter and problem solver who is pro-active, quality conscious and results oriented.
