Job description

Overview
MDDI’s Planning team, as part of the Strategic Planning Division, drives strategic alignment within the Ministry family.

This entails refining organisational priorities, translating strategies to plans, as well as guiding the resourcing of key policies and initiatives that support the strategic direction of the Ministry.


What You Will Be Working On
Identify opportunities and risks in the Digital and Information domains;
Set strategic priorities and goals for MDDI family;
Ensure coherence in the formulation and operationalisation of strategies across the organisation through internal and external engagement platforms;
Align the resource allocation in MDDI family with MDDI’s strategic priorities; and
Strengthen governance to ensure the achievement of strategic objectives.


What We Are Looking For
Background in related fields
At least 3 years of experience, preferably in the areas of strategic planning and policy formulation
Outstanding analytical, problem solving, critical and lateral thinking skills
Proven ability to translate knowledge and insights into strategy and performance implications
Resourceful and curious about what the world will look like tomorrow
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage both internal and external stakeholders
