Job description:
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the Facilities team to deliver high standards in maintenance, repair, and facility services.
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure uninterrupted operations and compliance with safety regulations.
- Manage and liaise with external service providers and suppliers to secure quality and cost-effective contracts.
- Ensure all facilities comply with statutory and regulatory requirements, promoting a culture of safety, sustainability, and environmental responsibility.
- Monitor and control facility budgets, optimize resource deployment, and contribute to financial planning and reporting.
- Oversee troubleshooting and resolution of facility-related issues promptly and effectively.
- Collaborate with various internal departments to support operational needs and implement facility-related projects and upgrades.
- Develop and conduct training and development programs for team members to enhance skills and competencies.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in facilities supervision or servicing and repair, preferably within the marine or heavy industrial sector.
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, health and safety standards.
- Capability in managing budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on teamwork and leadership.
