About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Enironmental Engineer to join our team in supporting healthy indoor environments.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and documenting contamination, assisting with remediation strategies, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of buildings, HVAC systems, and construction sites
- Collect and analyze samples (air, surface, bulk) using approved protocols
- Use moisture meters and infrared cameras to detect potential areas of concern
- Document findings and prepare comprehensive inspection reports
- Assist in developing remediation and prevention plans in collaboration with environmental engineers or remediation teams
- Educate clients and stakeholders on risks and recommended actions
- Stay updated with industry regulations and best practices
Requirements
- Diploma or certification in Environmental Science, Building Inspection, Occupational Health, or related field
- 1–2 years of experience in indoor environmental quality or mould inspection preferred
- Familiarity with sampling tools and lab analysis procedures
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate technical findings clearly
- Must be able to conduct on-site inspections in various environments
