What The Role Is
The Public Service Commission (PSC) was constituted in 1951 as an independent organ of state to appoint, promote, transfer, dismiss and exercise disciplinary control over public officers.
The PSC Secretariat provides secretariat support to the PSC.
This includes formulating conduct and discipline policies, to ensure that officers maintain the highest standards of personal conduct and integrity.
One significant non-statutory role of the PSC is the award of PSC scholarships for undergraduate and postgraduate studies.
The Secretariat assists in the formulation of scholarship policies, talent attraction and development of PSC scholarship holders as potential future leaders in the Public Service.
What You Will Be Working On
(Specific Job Responsibilities)
Develop a new scholarship application and management system
Support the project team in the development and implementation of an integrated IT system for public sector scholarships application, scholarship holder management and administration.
Manage existing IT systems
Support the maintenance of existing IT systems, including tasks such as conducting user acceptance testing, assessing change requests from users, etc.
Liaise with stakeholders such as internal business partners and IT system vendors to improve system processes.
Administrative support: plan, execute, and provide logistics for PSC events, including award ceremonies, developmental programmes and outreach activities; provide general administrative and operational support.

Work Experience
Experience in project management and/or IT services delivery.
Knowledge and working experience with system management and IT governance.
