Job Responsibilities
- To manage the staffing so that a high level of service can be offered to all guests
- Completely understand and maintain all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programmes
- Achieve organization objectives in service quality, appearance, and safety of the facilities through training of team members whilst maintaining a positive and productive working environment
- To liaise with both internal department and external vendors for the purpose of coordinating and improving the operational readiness / or condition of the working environment
- To develop new initiatives and spearhead new systems / process implementation in order to improve efficiency and productivity
- Constantly monitor team members performance in all phases of service and job functions, ensuring that all procedures are carried out according to departmental standards, and rectify any deficiencies with respective team member
- Foster and promote a cooperative working climate, maximizing productivity and team member's morale
- Provide feedback to supervisors and team members on their performance both positive and negative
- Conduct year end team member's performance review
- To communicate to the team members on property-wide updates, issues, and guest-related matters
- Identify and develop team member's opportunity for career progression
- Attend scheduled operations meetings and briefings as required
- To manage the P&Ls in order to ensure profitability, good ROIs and that KPIs are met
- Budgeting / forecast for department monthly expenses spending
Job Requirements
Education & Certification
- Degree in Hospitality or related field preferred
Experience
- At least 5 years of experience in the same capacity
Other Prerequisites
- Have a strong background in operations; any experience in 5-star hotel organizations
- Have prior knowledge of financials in P&L and budgeting
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent in English, knowledge of additional languages is an advantage
