Job Duties:
- Prepare, review, and manage tender submissions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client requirements.
- Conduct detailed quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and pricing for tender projects.
- Analyse tender documents, drawings, and specifications to identify risks, opportunities, and value engineering options.
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotations and evaluate bids.
- Collaborate closely with the project and design teams to align cost plans with project requirements.
- Prepare bills of quantities, cost breakdowns, and tender clarifications.
- Participate in tender interviews, negotiations, and presentations as required.
- Monitor industry trends, material prices, and market conditions to ensure competitive tendering.
- Ensure all tender processes are completed within deadlines and company standards.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a strong track record in tender preparation and submission.
- Excellent knowledge of construction contracts, cost control, and procurement processes.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in MS Office, cost estimation software, and measurement tools.
- Detail-oriented, organised, and able to work under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
