Responsibilities
- Identify and capitalise on potential business opportunities in the contract logistics and freight forwarding space
- Actively prospect and network to build a pipeline of qualified leads
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to win new clients
- Negotiate contract terms and pricing to secure new business
- Collaborate closely with the Operations team to ensure seamless delivery of services
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform our strategic sales initiatives
- Contribute to the development of innovative solutions to meet evolving client needs
- Ad hoc duties as assigned
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field
- At least 2 - 5 years' experience in a business development or sales role within the contract logistics or freight forwarding industry
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and growing a client portfolio
- Strong business acumen and commercial negotiation skills
