About the Job
As part of the Medical Care Concierge team, you will play a critical role in providing round‐the‐clock support to our policyholders.
This role ensures that customers and their families receive timely assistance, care coordination, and emotional support during urgent medical situations outside of regular office hours.
You will oversee escalated cases, liaise with healthcare providers, and safeguard seamless service delivery in alignment with Great Eastern’s brand promise.
Responsibilities
Coordinate patient care during the night shift, including urgent appointment scheduling, admissions, and referrals.
Manage cashless admission requests with hospitals and clinics, ensuring timely issuance and accurate record keeping.
Serve as the key liaison between customers, financial representatives, and healthcare providers (hospitals, doctors, specialists) during after‐hours.
Provide emotional support to customers and families via phone and, where necessary, on‐site hospital visits.
Escalate and resolve complex or high‐risk cases, ensuring adherence to service standards and protocols.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth handover of cases to the day shift.
What We’re Looking For
Possess at least 3–5 years of experience in healthcare, insurance, or patient services.
Have a strong understanding of hospital admission and discharge processes.
Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills with empathy and professionalism.
Be able to remain calm under pressure and think critically to resolve urgent issues.
Have strong organizational skills and be detail‐oriented in documentation.
Be willing and able to work 12‐hour night shifts (9 pm – 9 am), including weekends and public holidays on a rotational basis.
