Position Overview: Senior Executive / Assistant Manager, Finance
As a key member of the Finance team, you will contribute to the general ledger shared services, financial reporting, and management accounting functions across the Southeast Asia region.
Core Responsibilities
- Oversee financial reporting in compliance with internal policies, procedures, and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Uphold robust internal controls to ensure accuracy and reliability of financial data.
- Prepare audited financial statements, monthly journal entries, bank reconciliations, supporting schedules, and intercompany billing and invoicing.
- Compile monthly management reports, including reconciliations, variance analyses, and cash flow projections.
- Execute timely and precise month-end closing activities, including group-level reporting submissions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on matters related to taxation, treasury, and operations.
- Draft documentation for treasury transactions such as loan drawdowns, covenant tracking, and related reporting.
- Facilitate internal and external audit processes, including those conducted under PCAOB standards.
- Assist in the annual budgeting and forecasting cycles.
- Undertake additional tasks or projects as directed by management.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, with accreditation as a Singapore Chartered Accountant.
- 4 to 7 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting roles.
- Prior exposure to general ledger shared services and/or SAP S/4HANA is advantageous.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Detail-oriented, well-organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
- Effective communicator with a proactive and self-driven approach to learning.
