For Singapore, the Finance function provides management and reporting of its financial results, corporate tax and GST.
It also serves other important control functions including balance sheet reconciliation and substantiation.

Key Responsibilities
Account Payables
Handle invoice and payment processing on vendors and staff claims Prepare accounting journal entries and posting to general ledger Prepare monthly entries and schedules, including prepayments, provisions, accruals, MTM adjustments, and FD interest, etc. Prepare monthly gym files, as well as ad-hoc and annual BIK files to HR MAS Reporting
Prepare and review periodic regulatory returns to MAS for Singapore Office, including: MAS Notice 610 Submission of Statistics and Returns MAS 649 Minimum Liquid Assets and Liquidity Coverage Ratio Quarterly Income & Expenditure Statement Annual MAS Survey of Services Prepare monthly financial checklist for Singapore Branch to ensure compliance with MAS regulation and requirement Update daily MAS monitoring control (Capital Funds, Minimum Liquid Assets, Minimum Cash Balance and Asset Maintenance monitoring) MIS reporting:
Perform monthly balances sheet substantiation via Cadency Prepare Plato adjustment template for SG Prepare Month-end table for SAP exchange rate Prepare RCC upload file information for London consolidation Prepare the monthly Asia BU cost report and perform variance analysis of actuals vs budget for delivery to the Department Head Taxation
Assist in preparation of monthly tax computation file and year-end return for Singapore Branch and post the corresponding tax provision entries Others
Assist in system implementation projects, reports automation and analysis Undertake ad hoc assignments and meet tight deadlines Covering the duties for other team member while they are out of office Preferred Qualifications and Experience
Diploma in Finance, Accounting, or a related field Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of MAS reporting Minimum 3 years of accounting experience preferably in banking / auditing field Experience with SAP & SAP Concur system would be an advantage DBS Ideal e-banking payment Ability to work independently and as part of a team Knowledge, technical skills and expertise:
